Executive Chairman, Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder
Executive Chairman Scot Wingo sets the strategic direction for the company, and works closely with the management team to align product direction with market trends. Scot is an industry thought leader, contributing regularly to several ChannelAdvisor blogs and speaking often at industry events.
Scot received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. Scot has received numerous awards including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Triangle Business Journal’s Businessperson of the Year.
|David J. Spitz|
David Spitz, ChannelAdvisor’s CEO, is responsible for leading the company in its mission to provide retailers and branded manufacturers with the software and services needed to successfully sell their products via online sales channels. Before joining ChannelAdvisor, Spitz founded and successfully exited multiple venture-backed software companies. He was most recently an entrepreneur-in-residence at the Aurora Funds, a venture capital firm with more than $200 million under management. Prior to Aurora, David was president of Avesair, a mobile marketing company that was acquired by Inphonic. Previous to Avesair, David was co-founder and CTO of Netsation, a network management software company acquired by Nortel Networks.
David received a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. David recently was awarded the Triangle Business Journal’s 2010 CFO of the Year Award, and in 2008, David received the Triangle Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 award. David has also been awarded three U.S. patents, is past chairman of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Foundation Board and is a member of the executive committee and board of directors for the North Carolina Council for Entrepreneurial Development.
Vice President and General Counsel
Diana Semel Allen, vice president and general counsel for ChannelAdvisor, oversees worldwide legal functions, including regulatory compliance, commercial affairs, M&A, litigation and intellectual property management.
Diana previously served as associate general counsel, assistant secretary and compliance director for Cree, Inc., a leading innovator of lighting-class LED products, lighting products and semiconductor products for power and radio-frequency applications. Prior to joining Cree in 2005, she was a corporate attorney with Helms Mulliss & Wicker, PLLC, a Raleigh, North Carolina law firm (formerly part of Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore LLP).
Diana received a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors from Columbia College, Columbia University and a Juris Doctor with high honors from Duke University School of Law. She serves on the board of directors of the Research Triangle Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and is a section council member for the North Carolina Bar Association International Law Section.
Vice President of Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Josh Christie leads the global engineering organization responsible for ChannelAdvisor’s highly scalable software as a service (SaaS) platform. In this role, he works closely with partners, customers and product management to deliver innovative solutions to complex e-commerce challenges.
Before joining ChannelAdvisor in 2006, Josh was a software design engineer at Microsoft and an early member of the team that created Visual Studio Team System (now Visual Studio ALM). Josh received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both with highest honors, from North Carolina State University where he was a Park Scholar.
Vice President of Enterprise Sales
Vice president of enterprise sales, Paul Colucci oversees global enterprise sales, driving a company focus on customer acquisition and retention. In addition, he is responsible for generating new business and extending client relationships across the e-commerce industry and across international markets.
Before joining ChannelAdvisor in 2008, Paul acted as an executive partner for Iconitel Consulting Services, an information strategies firm. Before Iconitel, Paul served as president of Accolade Concepts, a marketing consulting services company, where he built new business by offering leading edge solutions for new product launches, marketing campaigns and internet strategies. Paul has also held executive positions in sales and product marketing with top start-up and established technology companies such as Venda, Thomson Dialog and Profound. Paul received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Hofstra University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mark Cook, Chief Financial Officer for ChannelAdvisor, oversees global financial operations and strategy for the company. In this capacity, he manages all accounting, treasury and cash management operations, financial planning and analysis, long-term strategic planning and investor relations. Mark served as Vice President, Finance and Controller of Red Hat, Inc., a leading global provider of open source software solutions, from 2007 until joining ChannelAdvisor and served as Vice President and Treasurer from 2004 to 2007. From 1980 through 2004, he held roles as Director of Corporate Finance, Treasurer, Analyst and Programmer with global textile and manufacturing companies including RJR Nabisco, Inc. and Burlington Industries, Inc. Mr. Cook received a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University and a M.B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer
As vice president of finance and chief accounting officer, Richard oversees the global accounting, tax, treasury, SEC reporting, Payroll, Procure-to-Pay and SOX compliance operations for ChannelAdvisor. He also manages the corporate audit and international statutory audit requirements for the Company.
Richard served as controller for ChannelAdvisor from September 2013 to November 2015. Previous to ChannelAdvisor, Richard was employed by Dex Media, Inc., a public company providing local marketing solutions, as the director of financial reporting and accounting. Prior to Dex Media, Inc., Richard served as senior financial reporting analyst at UST Inc., and as a senior accountant with Ernst & Young.
Richard received a B.A. degree in Accounting (Cum Laude) from Iona College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a fellow of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Richard is also a graduate of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Raleigh program.
Chief Revenue Officer
As ChannelAdvisor’s Chief Revenue Officer, Paul oversees the development and execution of the company’s global sales strategy including responsibility for customer acquisition, expansion and retention, as well as business development and sales engineering.
Prior to ChannelAdvisor, Paul served as Executive Vice President, North American sales for Monster Worldwide (acquired by Randstad Holdings) where he managed the sale of all Monster products throughout a multi-channel network, including a 900-person direct sales force. Before Monster, Paul was Chief Sales Officer at Automic Software, where he led global sales, distribution, and customer success and was part of the core leadership team reporting to the CEO.
Forte also held various sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility and scope over the course of eight years at IBM, including leading IBM’s then-largest software brand in North America, Information Management. He came to IBM through the acquisition of Ascential Software Corporation in May 2005. Prior to Ascential, Paul served in various sales and sales leadership roles at PTC, eCredit and Nalco Chemical Company. In addition to his civilian tenure, Paul began his career as a US Army officer serving in a variety of staff and leadership positions including service during Operations Desert Shield and Storm.
Paul holds a MBA from the University of Michigan — Stephen M. Ross School of Business, an MSA from Central Michigan University and a BA in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire.
Vice President of Greater China
ChannelAdvisor’s Vice President of Greater China, James Huang is responsible for helping retailers and manufacturers understand the value of the ChannelAdvisor platform in their efforts to successfully sell their products across multiple online channels and geographies, as well as continuing to expand sales in the Greater China region.
Prior to this role, Huang was the chairman and CEO of MerchantRun Holdings Limited, where he pioneered channel-management software services and subsequently led the company to acquisition. He then became the senior vice president of overseas business development for 4PX, where he managed major initiatives for the group’s five subsidiaries and engineered strategic partnerships with online marketplaces.
Vice President of Services
Lance Phillips, vice president of services for ChannelAdvisor, oversees ChannelAdvisor’s U.S. services team, including account management, professional services, launch services and customer support. In this role, Lance is responsible for customer success, retention and growth.
Phillips brings to the role more than 15 years in customer support. Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, he served as vice president of customer loyalty at Youth Digital. Additionally, he held customer experience positions at Cumulus Networks and Red Hat. Phillips has significant international knowledge building and working with customer experience teams in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Vice President and Chief People Officer
As Vice President and Chief People Officer, Amy Robertson is responsible for global HR management, operations and recruiting. With over 19 years of benefit, compensation, and HR technology experience, Amy leads ChannelAdvisor’s global human resources team to hire and develop top talent for the company.
Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, Amy served as vice president, global total rewards, people systems and operations at RedHat where she managed HR operations, technology,compensation, benefits, recognition, global expansion, and compliance among other responsibilities. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University.
Chief Marketing Officer
Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Sargeant oversees ChannelAdvisor’s worldwide marketing initiatives, including corporate and product branding, demand generation, public relations and event management. Melissa leverages her background in developing go-to-market strategies for software-as-a-service companies to elevate awareness of ChannelAdvisor’s leading e-commerce platform.
Melissa has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience. Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, she served as vice president of marketing for Avalara, a leading tax compliance automation firm. Before Avalara, she was senior director of product marketing at CA Technologies. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and U.S. history from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
Vice President of Brands and Manufacturers
Mike Shapaker currently serves as vice president of brand and manufacturers for ChannelAdvisor, where he is responsible for leading the ChannelAdvisor for Brands initiative. ChannelAdvisor for Brands, including ChannelAdvisor Where to Buy, is the industry’s first holistic initiative to enable e- commerce success for branded manufacturers no matter where they are in their online journey.
Mike previously led professional services and business operations teams at ChannelAdvisor. Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, Mike held leadership roles in product management and marketing at Nortel Networks and TheraSim. Mike began his career as a consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.
Vice President of Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management, Mark is responsible for overseeing ChannelAdvisor’s Marketplaces solution, extending the company’s global leadership in marketplace management. Under Mark’s lead, the ChannelAdvisor product management team is responsible for equipping branded manufacturers and retailers with the features and functionalities they need to optimize their sales and increase their global footprint.
A 14-year veteran of ChannelAdvisor, Mark has served as director of cross-border trade and director of services. Most recently, he served as the director of business development, managing strategic partnerships and exploring new business opportunities that benefit brands and retailers across ChannelAdvisor’s supported e-commerce channels. He holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Vice President of Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management at ChannelAdvisor, Link is responsible for driving the roadmap for the company’s Digital Marketing solution. He oversees a team dedicated to working with customers and the engineering team to deliver innovative technology to the market.
Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor in 2005, Link managed online marketing for Art.com, an online retailer of posters, prints and original artwork. Previous to Art.com, Link worked as a management consultant helping companies in finance, strategy and organizational design. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
